Obtaining Your SIP Credentials

Customers who wish to use their own third party supplied IP phone (such as a Snom or Linksys/Cisco IP phone) will need to obtain their SIP credentials from the portal. For security reasons VoCPhone support agents are not permitted to email you your credentials.

Step 1 - Log into the portal.
Please visit and enter your username and password.

Step 2 - View extensions.

Once you are logged in you will see a number of options on the left side of the screen including "Extensions". Please click on this menu item.

Once you click on the "Extensions" menu item, you will be shown a list of extensions associated with your account. (If no extensions are shown you can create one and return to this section later.)

Click on the extension number (it should be a 6 digit number in blue text with underlining) to open up the information associated with that specific service.

Step 3 - View extension credentials.

When you click on the extension number a new page will load which shows you information about the extension (such as the name and CallerID settings). Click on the "Credentials" button to view the SIP username and password for that extension.

You will be presented with a screen that asks you to agree to the security implications of viewing your account credentials.

Once you have agreed, you will be presented with the screen you see on the left. This includes the SIP username and password.

Which server should I register with?
